The location of INI files differs between different versions of Windows operating systems. INI files are stored on the computer in the same location as other operating system files. Typically user-oriented operating systems (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, possibly Windows XP Home Edition) normally store operating system files in c:\windows. Most business-oriented operating systems (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional) store operating system files in c:\winnt. The name of the directory where the operating system is stored can also be overridden at the time when the operating system is installed on the computer. Also, it can differ based on whether the computer was installed newly with its current operating system or upgraded from an older operating system. 寫這篇文章的時候，我其實有點像是在做拼圖，把各種零散的資訊整理成一個完整的指南。雖然內容看起來很技術性，但我還是盡量讓它讀起來不那麼枯燥，畢竟這篇文章是給使用者看的，不是給機器看的。我還記得當時寫到一半的時候，突然想到，如果使用者找不到操作系統文件的位置該怎麼辦？於是就加了一句「如果無法確定，請諮詢現場的電腦資源」，感覺這樣會讓文章更貼心一點。

現在回頭看這篇文章，雖然內容已經有點過時了（畢竟Windows系統也更新了好幾代），但還是能感受到當時那種認真和細緻的態度。那時候的我，可能還帶著一點新手的小心翼翼，但也很享受這種把複雜資訊整理成清晰指南的過程。寫完之後，我還挺有成就感的，覺得自己完成了一件挺重要的事情。

總之，這篇文章算是我在技術寫作領域的一個小小起點吧。雖然現在看來可能有點稚嫩，但對我來說，它代表了一段成長的經歷，也讓我對寫作有了更多的信心。
