All New Network Versions of Learning Working Styles and C.I.T.E. Learning Styles
Our network versions offer a browser-based application, meaning that the application is
displayed within an Internet browser. It does not require a connection to the Internet.
It is simply displayed within the browser while running off of your local network.
The benefits of this new and improved design are:
- Single Server Installation - Once the computer that is designated as the server
is set up and installed, there is nothing that you need to install on the student
computers.
- Common User Interface - For students that have used the Internet before,
the interface will ease their use of the application due to the fact that they are
already familiar with how to use an Internet browser.
- Central Data Storage - Due to the design of the network version, each students
results can be accessed by the teacher from any computer without having to visit each
individual workstation or having the students print out their results.
- Ease of Adding Additional Workstations - Because Learning/Working Styles
requires only an Internet browser to use the application, and because an Internet
browser comes pre-installed on every computer, to add another workstation
for use in the application, you only need to ensure that the workstation has
network access to the server. Other than that, there is nothing else that you
need to do and nothing else that you need to install.
